Amanda Anderson is a proud resident of Capitol Heights with over 13 years of experience in leadership and community engagement. Currently working in a high-level administrative role for the Bishop of Washington, she holds advanced knowledge of efficient administrative practices, project management, community programming, and technology advancement. She also received a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Administration from Lee University.
Amanda has served the Town of Capitol Heights for over 4 years. She was a vital member in chartering the first Town of Capitol Heights Toastmasters Club and served as Treasurer. She also served as the Secretary of the Capitol Heights Planning and Economic Development Committee (PEDC) and provided Executive Assistant services to former Mayor Shawn Maldon from 2018-to 2020.
